Abstract

Operations research is a multidisciplinary research area from its beginnings. Domain knowledge is needed to develop robust and useful decision support tools. In this interview led by Carlos Franco, we go though how is the process of developing solutions and algorithms, and how operations research helps in constructing bridges between different areas.
